Together we can still fight global warming. Spread the word. Encourage your friends to watch the movie or buy the book/DVD — Incovenient Truth. Here is a list of 10 quick things you can do to help keep greenhouse gases more managable, or grab the adobe acrobat file here (size: 1MB).
- Change a light

Walk, bike, carpool or take mass transit more often. you’ll save one pound of carbon dioxide for every mile you don’t drive! - Recycle More
You can save 2,400 pounds of carbon dioxide per year by recycling just half of your household waste. - Check your tyres
Keeping your tyres inflated properly can improve gas mileage by more than 3%. Every gallon of gasoline(petrol) saved keeps 20 pounds of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere! - Use less hot water

I agree that people need to push the Government into action as they have this issue placed in the too hard basket.
I had recently spoken to a new electricity billing company who had agents making visits to residents in my area. I was shocked and disappointed to find out that only 4 people out of approx. 90 had signed up for Green Energy with this retailer. The cost was a mere $1.50 inc! As the new price was actually lower than my then current provider, it did not cost much more than I was already paying.
I think that we need to be more pro-active making time to find ways of making a difference and to let these bodies know that we are serious about finding ways of reducing carbon dioxide ommissions sooner rather than later.
I have also recently seen the movie “An inconvenient Truth” and it was definately an eye opener. I suggest and recommend it’s viewing to everyone.
