Duplicity

Have you ever watched a movie you really wanted to thinking it would be good or had the possibilities or potential to be a showstopper but… it kinda never happened. Well in a nut shell thats what Duplicity is. Sounds pathetic huh? Well, wait tell you watch it. I’d say save you dosh and time to watch paint dry instead.

Milk

All men are created equal. No matter how hard you try you can never erase those words…

I’m a bit late to the party but can I just say I loved this movie. Pure, simple and just gold! Its a movie of epic proportions; fighting for ones basic human rights, fighting for gay rights in America sure wasn’t easy. It isn’t any easy now, and it surely wouldn’t have been two decades earlier. A lot has been said about gay activism, gay rights & campaigns against homophobic people, anti-gay religious groups and broadening the human mind, this movies does just that, it truly goes to show how America or Castro – a district in California was, back around late 1970s. This is an extremely heart-rendering and sensitive movie that touches on many aspects of the lifes tapestry. I simply love how beautifully Sean Penn brings about the vulnerable, fallible side as a gay lover. Harvey Milks social standing is huge and the price he and his friends paid and stood for has liberated many.

Lawrence Leung

Lawrence LeungBetween the all so young and hyped netlovers of myspace and the telly watching yuppies am sure Lawrence Leunig isn’t just another face in the crowd. Surely not in Australia. Perhaps, not at all for those seeking live comedy especially if around Melbourne. Lawrence is only just 100 years young, full of beans, loves story telling, likes doing social experiments and has nerdy obsessions like puzzles, ghosts, solving the Rubik’s cube. Wait, did I mention puzzles?

Trippermap your site

I am not exactly sure how long Trippermap has been in existance but I came across it today and it blew my socks away. Love the simple and clever and very importantly ‘down to earth’ realistic idea of showing map alongside geotagged photos. Brilliant!!

Since I am using a demo account It will scan through only 200 geotagged photo and 50 unique locations only. :( But it still shows you the potential of this wonderful awesome tool and how very effective this is in showing casing travel or galleries for the visual mind. I love it.

Asteroid DD45

It wasn’t until this morning that I read about the asteroid DD45 and was quite in shock… such a strange thing would happen and very few people knew about it. Or perhaps the information was controlled to avoid people panicking over it. Who know what happens when you put your head to the pillow… well as the information below will tell you… a lot does go on!
