A walk in the park

Sometimes a nice long walk in the park in autumn can be just as refreshing as a whole day away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind. That is exactly what we did this afternoon with Pam and it was such an invigorating experience.

What I particularly like about this photo is how it has the sun filtering through the trees. Those little pockets of sundance make it for me.

We walked the whole perimeter of the Centennial Park and some spots had the trees in autumn foliage. It was a pretty sight to behold.

It was really lovely being in the company of Joe and Tim and their loved ones last evening to share in the celebration of their platinum (20th) Anniversary. The weekend felt like it went away way too quick. Wouldn’t it be lovely to work just three maybe four days a week! :) And this coming week is a very special week with D’s upcoming birthday. There is much to look forward to — on the weekday nights as well. Ah never enough time to rest but that how we like it. We only live once!
