What’s a nag screen?

When you have trial or shareware software on your computer they usually time out after a predefined period of time and during the time of operation it usually gives you a reminder to let the user know that they are using a time limited shareware, careware or trial software. The pop-up or the dialog message is called a ‘nag-screen‘.
