The lovely-lovely D has won us a fully paid ticket to Paris for two for a week. This also includes a stay at the Accor group of hotels in Paris for a week. GRATIS!!! Oh My God! We’re so ecstatic. I can’t even start to tell you… there’ll be more updates soon. The only pressing need is that we need to avail it by the end of this calendar year and we’re both extremely busy but hey you can never be too busy to take a free luxury ride to La Pari!

Congratulations. I hope just knowing such lucky people increases my chances of ever winning something wonderful like this. Christmas in Paris would be my suggestion. Or at least leading up to Christmas. I once was in Vienna just before Christmas and the shop windows were something to behold, and the crowds out shopping at night, it was great fun. Guess everything closes when the public holidays start, but it would be fun beforehand. You are unbelievably lucky!

I’ve been to Paris and just love it, but the last time was more than 10 years ago. I can’t wait to be like a “Parisien” and explore the different neighbourhoods and we definitely have to go to Palace of Versailles. It’s meant to be just stunning. I can’t work today - I’m too excited!

That is fantastic. It pays to know someone like David!! I loved Paris when I met Ian there in 01…it was in December so VERY chilly indeed. My glasses used to fog up when we went outside. I wonder when your trip will be??
