Canon Ixus 750

For those of you who have looked ‘closely’ at my flickr photos from the last 2 days or so and what I mean by looking ‘closely’ is, if you had bothered to check the EXIF data you’d know I am shooting with my new toy!! Yes, I bought myself a Canon Digital Ixus 750! Yoo-woo! Call me reckless and imperative yeah thats me!! I wanted to get a small digital camera for taking happy snaps… tired of lugging the 20D around all the time… there couldn’t be a better time for this indulgance that the stocktake sale! So there I was running around in the rain between Chatswood and Hornsby to get myself a good deal on Friday the 13th. While I haven’t taken a whole lot of photos you’d surely see some on Flickr soon enough. And to this end I have also set up a Flickr Group for those of you who might have a Canon digital Ixus 750. Please join the group and post away.

Although I must admit in all sincerity its David’s fault, had he not bought his a day earlier all would have been just fine. But being young and immature that I am I get tempted easy… Ssssh! I hope he’s not reading this. :P

Nice work! Now I’m tempted to just go out and buy a new camera rather than get mine repaired…

I just bought this camera for my wife, we are Mac users, I cant for the life of me get the images onto the mac, i plug the USB in, turn on the camera, and it just sit’s on one of the saved photo’s on the camera screen. nothing happens. I haven’t installed the included software, because I didn’t think the mac would need it (didn’t need it for my Canon EOS 350D). Do I have to install the included software? i don’t even want to use it, just want to use iPhoto. Not happy that the canon software isnt Universal Binary…

      Thanks,
