Border Action for PhotoShop

RogueAdding a little border, simple or exotic often adds a little love to even the dullest of all photos. You’ll almost immediate notice a difference when you see the same photo side by side with and without a border. Lately I have gotten on the ‘Frame my photo‘ bandwagon. And I must say the transition feels good. It feels better framed. No pun intended.

On flickr I usually put images that are of 500 pixels wide. In the past I’ve put images that are bigger but not anymore. Hence came the reason to make an action that was 500 pixels wide. I created 2 little actions for Flickr. They both scale your photos down to 500 px. One with black border and the other without.

Feel free to download the flickr 500 set (size 4kb) and put them to use on your flickr account or otherwise. They were created in PhotoShop CS4 and tested on Mac and Windows. Enjoy!
