Heres to the musical baton

Oh yes I got it too… thought I’d go quietly, no such thing :) Thanks Ian and Indranil for passing the torch :) and here goes mine:

Total volume of music files on my computer

Darn… do I have to say it… :) hmmm ’tis under 10 GB from memory.

The last CD I bought was

Anthony Callea — The Prayer

Song playing right now

Cafe de Flore (Charles Webster’s Latin Lovers Mix) — Doctor Rockit

Five songs I listen to a lot, or that mean a lot to me

Well, trouble is I quite dislike having a ‘type’ so I flick through a lot of different kinds of music. It all depends on my mood and the way sun shines LOL. The five most listened to (not necessarily liked or loved :) in the last few weeks have been:

  1. Beautiful Soul — Jesse McCartney
  2. Behind these Hazel Eyes — Kelly Clarkson
  3. The Way you move — Outkast
  4. Tinka Tinka — Karam
  5. Black Horse & The Cherry Tree (Radio Version) — KT Tunstall

a pink heart iconUpdate: Oh can i just say my new love is the song — Midas Touch [Remix By Starskee] by Midnight Star

FiveEight people to whom I’m passing the baton

Well well well, here I go with *bells on* Maxine Sherrin, John Allsopp, Ruth Gould, Nancy Barbee , Indranil (LOL can’t I), Satish Talim, Creative Bastard, Arvind, Scribbling Woman, Conversant Studios, and Mikemoo.

    TODAY’s song: Wildflower by Skylark
This is an oldie but a nice one

“Let her cry for she’s a lady
Let her dream for she’s a child.
Let the rain fall down upon her
She’s a free and gentle flower growing wild.”

Now listening to some oldies - Vanessa May - One moment in time and Lulu - To Sir With Love.

  3. Thanks for passing it on to me Amit - Jesse McCartney and Kelly Clarkson is an interesting selection.

Sorry Amit, I’m dropping the baton because I have 0 bytes of music on my hard drive. The CD I’ve been listening to which is I just bought yesterday is The Essential Bob Dylan - very soulful!

Hi Benvolio, have to admit I like both Jesse McCartney and Kelly Clarkson. Kelly’s songs are surely out there no doubt and some of Jesse’s are not to bad either. Good lyrics too. Oh I did leave a message on yours :0)

  6. Nice list buddy. Really good choice of music there.

Yea the mood now very much affects my choice of music. Pink Floyd and Radiohead (love Radiohead very much) are bands that I listen to when I’m often tired or sad :P. DMB, U2, Coldplay, Keane, Franz Ferdinand, REM, and many other important bands that I know I fogot are just everyday bands, though they vary aswell.
