Better still I could grab one when we’re in the US in a few months time but will it be compatible in Australia? Am guessing the short answer for now is NO. But it will be in the near future. I’d rather not bore you with my analysis of it as a lot is being said about it even as I type this now…. almost half a day after the announcement was made by Steve Jobs. What a revolutionary idea. Wow another blow to a hundred odd Mobile handset makers out there! Well done Steve.

yes, me too, i have been waiting for something like the Apple TV to be released for a while now, as it will drastically improve the audio quality with my current setup using a 4 metre stereo cable from my PC ( yes PC!! ) to my stereo, which limits me to on audio transfer. Plus i’ve sent all the money in putting in a wireless router and i dont even use it!! June ain’t that far away, a few more blinks and it will be here. And an Ipod that can make phone calls and more… hmmm.. maybe i might not need to get a Mac, just use the Iphone!
All true just home the iPhone doesnt get scratched like the iPodnanos. Pee-Cs are a distant past for me. Ewww the very word wreaks of bad taste.

Yes but we’d be visiting Nan in the US soon.
so buying them *cross fingers* wouldnt be that much of an issue. Last year I remember seeing the video iPods from coast to Coast in America in the first week of March. Apple Australia was only selling them a after a good couple of months…. 
hehe will that work with AU mobile carriers, for now only Telstra uses EDGE technology for fast data transfer..
That remains to be seen, buuuut I can still use it as an organiser, Photo viewer on field, HDD, video iPod….., I’m so excited I might wet myself.

I am getting iTV and iPhone. I have decided. Of course, I do need to take out a loan but hey. Life is short right? I need to spoil myself a little bit you know.
I am retiring this year but am in the process of writing a grant for an Apple COW to leave behind. Maybe they’ll hire me for staff development?
Now thats the way to do it. Harry throw out your crappy PEE-C and get off the dark side. Nans writing a grant and am sure she’ll make sure I get a few coloured iPods to match my Tees. Now wouldnt it be super nice to have an AppleTV and iPhone and one huge 68″ flat sceen with ambiance and good surround? We don’t ask for much just a tad quality really.
