Alright, so here is the little surprise that some of you may not have known… I’ll be in North Carolina for 7 days with the wonderful Nancy. And in that time we’d also be travelling to Chicago for 2 days, experiencing the Magnificient Mile, Michigan avenue walking past where Tintin and Snowy once did. Oh the excitement…
Given the 5 days only in and around North Carolina and I know Nan has already put together a lot to see, do and lovely people to meet but if you have travelled or live in and around the area I would love to hear from you too… oh did I mention we’d also be hoping to visit the memorial where Wilbur and Orville Wright took off the ground on 17th December 1903…. I can’t wait… considering back in 2003 I had even blogged about this… and yes Chapel Hill, memories of the cold Mountain… the counties in the Mountains, Piedmont and the Coast… the Lost Colony of Raonoke Islands and Outer Bank, golf trail, the heart of the Motorsport, the last state to secede from the Union and join the Confederacy oh there is so much to hear, see, experience… but… please do give me your suggestions… I’d really love to hear from you.

First let me say, the blog is *looking great* - really beautiful!
You are going to have a wonderful time in NC. I have never been there, but would very much love to go one day. In particular I would be interested to see the coast line there, with all those islands with so much history.
Thanks Maxine. Sometimes trying to keep it simple and clean is the biggest ever challenge don’t you think? I am glad you liked it though.
Can’t wait to get to NC. After 2 very long and 1 short flight I will be in North Carolina. I am already so excited about it. Nancy lives in the Coastal county on NC so I look forward to seeing a lot of the coasts with her and time willing a bit of Piedmont as well. I agree the history there is just amazing!
I can’t wait to show Amit N.C. Maxine, you are most welcome here any time. I’d love to host you here and show you around. N.C. has such diverse regions. Mountains, Peidmont, and Coastal so there is a lot to see.
Thanks Nancy - that’s very sweet of you - I know I will get there one day!
This is another amazing re-design, Amit. You’re really rolling them out. This has to be my favourite so far.
I know nothing about NC, but I’m terribly jealous anyway!
Amit I can’t keep up with your redesigns! I really like this one and I reckon you should stick with it for a while.
I actually live in North Carolina, in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area. Beautiful place to visit
OH MY GOD. I would be there on Friday the 3rd, the 5th, the 7th and then 10th of this march. We should meet up?
