The Home of the Mustangs, the lovely Maysville Elementary folks have had a rejig of their website. I had designed their site about two and a half years back. Though the design essentially remains the same I’ve added some functionality and removed parts of the website that had becomes obsolete. Not only does Maysville as an Elementary school stand out of the crowd, they are backed by people who are passionate, teachers who go beyond their call of duty, students and patrons that blog and podcast and their thirst for knowledge! Though my visit to North Carolina last month was only for one short week, it was the one that made me feel at home and in the company of lovely friends and warm hearted people.
Maysville Elementary School is located in the town of Maysville, Jones County, North Carolina. Located near the coast, we utilize our resources to provide an understanding and appreciation of the industrial and recreational opportunites of the coastal region. The beach is definitely a major asset for us. Our school has a student body population of approximately 200 students from grades Pre-K to 5. We adhere to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study providing quality education for all children. As a small community school, the stability of low teacher turnover, close ties with parents, and a nurturing staff has made Maysville Elementary School the place your child can succeed.
Maysville Elementary School also known as MES is proud to announce its new weblog MES Mustangs for reporting classroom and school wide information. Eventually patrons will be able to access each teacher’s blog for more specific classroom information.

Well, I’d love to come by again. And certainly hope this time I get to see wilmington and Wilbur and Orville Wright’s memorial. That is a must! If only NC was closer. And nan we will have to do the Waffle House at Raleigh, Durham. I’d even speak back to them in southern!
