    I thought it was strange there never seemed to be any intention of charging anybody for the service…

    Congrats to them though. Its a great product and should be right at home in the google empire.

    I do like Measuremap no doubt although Mint seems a lot faster than Measuremap but given Googles recent happenings in Tibet and China regarding information cencorship… it makes one wonder. Google is basically endorsing censorship and repression. Where is human right? where is being democracy. Allow me to quote here”

    Free Tibet Campaign has already protested to Google about its service ‘Google Earth’, in which the word Tibet is not recognised (’Lhasa, Tibet’ produces no results in the search engine, where ‘Lhasa, China’ is accepted). A protest from the Taiwanese, who objected to Taiwan being described as a ‘Province of China’ prompted a climb-down by Google, and the contentious words were removed.
