Pride & Prejudice in the Open Air Theatre

Open air cinemaHonyea, David and I are heading down to the pompus Royal Botanic Gardens in a couple of hours from now to watch ‘Pride & Prejudice‘ in the favourite picnic spot, jogging route of the Royal Botanic Gardens a home to a magnificent collection of South Pacific plant life, an old-fashioned rose garden, a succulent garden, a dark, dingy bat colony and breath-taking harbour views. It has been overcast all day and we hope it doesn’t rain… *fingers crossed*.

This is the 9th cosecutive year that The Open Air cinemas have been screened in the Sydney Harbour against a backdrop of the city’s astonishing skyline. This years show includes 10 premiere or preview screenings. And very specially this years program also included a special live performance by the Sydney Symphony to celebrate Mozart’s 250th birthday.
