YAY, the day started on a bright note. Hopefully not too long before I get my macbook so I can write ‘gushing’ blogs… :) and get on with my life… Windows is hideous. Its nasty! Repeat after me. 5 times. (Nasty!)5 … Soon I’ll have my sanity back. David’s cooking some yummy suprise dinner for which he had to go somewhere special to get all the ingredients… yumm food (rolls belly)… and then we’re headed off to see Toni Collette, in Little Miss Sunshine with chocotop in hand. Damn! I just dribbled! *Wipes drool*…

    Rish, you so need to take 15 dips in Ganges before you ever utter anything windows…!! Eeewww… Get a mac will you? All you do is need to go shopping with Nan!! :) Or me here when you come down… chuck out that windows box will ya!

    Little miss sunshine is funny. Hilarious, it was a blast. Toni Collette is always great. Is it out in the cinemas there? It basically touched on the idiosyncrasies of family life… as for the ending I expected something different but it wasn’t too bad! do watch it.

    Indranil: Tell you what… it simply rocks. Why was I sitting back on my PowerBook so long? I have also installed WinXP with Parallels… and it works like a charms. Goodbye to windows box for testing. I am loving me Maude! :)

    Hey Amit, Are you getting a Macbook or Macbook Pro? What happened to the 17′ beastie that you had previously (the Powerbook). The Intel Macs look interesting. I want to get a 24′ iMac when I get to replacing the 17′ iMac I have at the mo. Man it is a TV!! Have seen them in the flesh and it does look cool. As for laptops, work give me one every 3 years so there is no point in having another one. Ruth has one as well so if I got a Macbook that would make 3 laptops in the household!!! I want to get an eyetv card for the Mac at some point, however I will probably wait till I get round to replacing the Mac. Ruth and I have just come back from NZ, so the finances need boosting again :)

    Andrew, I got the Macbook, very happy with the more portable size and it works a charm. Bet the MBPs are good too but decided on getting the smallest one in the intel series as I cart it around everywhere. The 17-inch goodness is in for repairs following a S.M.A.R.T. failure. I have worked that baby way too much. It did more than its fair share to be honest… also thinking on the 20″/24″ iMac. Buying lotto tonight again… :) It would be nice to have a seperate computer at home. But with that comes the cost of doubling up licences of things I have already bought… *thinks of Lotto again*

    Saw some of your photos from your holidays in NZ and they are just gorgeous. Wow… what a beautful place. Absolutely beautiful. Must must go there soon. I see you did the canyon swing too. I so would like to do that…. alright alright…. just a slight confession… I went and saw the photos on the Canyon Swing site and felt a little queasy and hollow in the stomach… :)

    Black or white? Those little things are pretty cool :) The NZ trip was great! Lots of fun and highly recommended. I am in the same dilema regards lotto :) Canyon swing was great, although a little on the scary side… Was a HUGE adrenalin rush. Glad I did it though :)

    I had a SMART failure only a couple of months after getting my iMac last year, however it all was fixed so it is goodness now. Not a problem since.

    ummm, Y-ite… :) very sauve… hmmm yummm… they are so tiny and yet so powerful. And i have Parallels running on it too.

    so have to go there and I am looking forward to Ruth’s next installation as well.

    I want LOTTO too! After just spending $375 at the travel doctor for travelling to India and being a contractor now, well as you know you don’t get paid for holidays…aahhhh! Need lotto!!! I liked ‘Little Miss Sunshine’ – saw it on the plane on the way back. It’s a teensy bit predictable but it was nice and feel-good. I love the dancing scene! I can’t believe it was time for a Mac upgrade already. I remember when you got the Powerbook and it had to be put to bed in velvet and gold covers. Hee hee! :)

    Loved ‘Little Miss Sunshine’. Oh the joys of family!! I do have to agree it was a wee bit predictable but far from most hollywood slapsticks anyway. ‘Little Miss Sunshine’ on the back of aeroplane seats would have been even mor little…. did you fly Qantas?

    Yes Maude sleeps with me… we share the duna… and she keeps me warm through the night… LOL.

    Mmmmm…Maude is nice and cuddly. Yes the movie was quite small on the screen on the plane – I was craning my neck to see around the stewards as they wheeled their trolleys by. Yes we did fly back Qantas.
