Google wants to rule the earth like Microsoft dreamt. RoundCube is still beta and I don't think it dreams of email client domination. :) They run totally different races. You can't get to your email without Javascript, at all.) Gmail doesn't validate, doesn't even try, and it's a great product because of it. The straight HTML version even works in Links! (I say this having had to do it before because X.org wasn't setup/working on Ubuntu! :)) Still, it'd be great if as the software matures they can keep (improve) accessibility/validation stuff, whilst implementing various new features sported by Gmail, OWA 2003, Kerio Webmail et al.
