Shooting in Black and White

No matter how much colour I shoot The pure joy of Black and White just doesn’t go away. Here is Saint D contemplating at the Berkelouw Book barn in Berrima, Southern Highlands. We were taking a little break before we drove off to Devon Cottage in Bowral. Below are some more B/W shots of the Book barn before we left. Do you like B/W photos?

  1. These B/W photos are absolutely breath-taking! The saying 'a picture is worth a thousand words' really comes into play here. I just love the detail in that photo of Saint D, and I love how the background is blurred… yet you can make out the car in the backdrop. I also love the reflection on Saint D's sunnies.

    Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful!

    • Thanks Luzzle, Glad you like 'em. Thanks for your encouragement. I appreciate it. I really do love B/W they convey so much mood and ambiance and generally tell a story beautifully. I'm looking forward to putting up more B/W photos here soon.
