Sydney to Cooma and back

Parliament Circle entranceAfter having stayed in a few weekends we decided to go for a somewhat longish spin down to Canberra Cooma. Last weekend was a long weekend due to Anzac Day — a day to commemorate all the brave soldiers that laid their lives for Australia in Gallipolli. We took off to Canberra from Sydney and drove down along the M5 Motorway. Our first exit was the quaint little town of Berrima. Fascinating! We have been there about a couple of times but was mum and dad’s first. They loved it. It is a small historic town and has so much character it almost makes you feel like moving there for good. The flora and faun, the autumn leaves, the soft gentle autumn breeze.. Well actually it was cold. :) We had gourmet pies for lunch and then headed back onto the M5 towards Canberra.
