The last time D gave me a few clues I could very well tell our venue was going to be Tabou for a scruptious meal… satisfying our inner man is important and we acknowledge that…. my clues mind you were very cryptic yet I could get my head around it. This time though, it took much longer but did work finally… 
My 1st set of clues were: Beautiful Awkward Pictures
Hmmm! That didn’t really help much as I didn’t think of the new album. I was off thinking of the individual adjectives and associating places for fine dining. Isn’t it always about the food?
2nd set of clues were: “With a 1920′s feel to the interior, the ******** friendly and unpretentious luxury has an ambience unlike any other.”
Bang! I knew it almost instantly. The Vanguard, Newtown. YAY! And on checking the site in the next split second I realised our good ole Muriel, Toni Collete was on and she’d even sing her brilliant new single Look up.
We had a lovely time eating at King Street, Newtown — a far cry from the last Newtown experience, our second time at the Viet King followed by an intereting Pina Colada and D’s Pink Pussycat Punch.
The Vanguard is a rather cute live music venue and restaurant. Red and intimate, no photogrpahy allowed inside but some don’t seem to follow the rules. It was a fun night and great to see Toni Collette up this close.
