Sweet success after all this time. I have been watching the polls closely and amazing how much of it is out there on the web. Clicking through myriads of blog posts today I came across one that read: America has woken up from an eight year slumber! How very true!
Winds of change for America, and thank God for Obama! Do watch the interactive hour by hour guide. Of course if you’re in the US right now you’d be bored stiff of this as my friend Nan tells me. We can quite related to that here in Sydney — it wasn’t long before Kevin Rudd won the elections here and the ‘constant washing of dirty linen in public’ by both sides of the parliament was getting to us all. But this is really nice to see America voted to embrace change and hope. Good on you Obama.
On the plus side this will put aside a bit of the ‘doom and gloom’ financial talk for a while. There is a new kid in town and there is enough rope!

Can I just say one more thing… Oh Poor Alaska and Hawaii, they are so far away from everything their votes don’t even count or make a difference.
