‘The chronicles of Narnia‘ — C.S. Lewis’ timeless adventure, set in World War II England which follows the exploits of the four Pevensie siblings – Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter – who enter the world of Narnia through a magical wardrobe while playing a game of hide-and-seek at the rural estate of a mysterious professor. They discover a charming, once peaceful land inhabited by talking beasts, dwarfs, fauns, centaurs and giants that has become a world cursed to eternal winter by the evil White Witch, Jadis. Under the guidance of a noble and mystical ruler, the magnificent lion, Aslan, the children fight to overcome Jadis’(the white witch) powerful hold over Narnia that will free her from her icy spell forever. A movie well worth seeing and just as well it is the hottest movie of the month and the Holiday season.

Heard of Tropfest? The annual short film festival held on a Sunday night in February each year in Sydney. Well, I’ve been offered a short role, to be confirmed hopefully
. The name of the film is “The Score”. You’ll see more details when the Tropfest 2006 list is up. In the mean time, well if this works out… do wish me luck :)!
The Scene: Well seems like the first scene is me dashing into a bubbly bathtub
…a ‘fantasy role’ of the main character in the movie. Want more? You must watch it in February 2006.
Friday surely was a very exciting day on two counts. One, I met up my a very old chat friend Danny after having only known him for 6 years and a bit. Wow! and two - I got pulled over and…. The internet is a living breathing space and here is proof again - it can and does transform lives, bring people closer, build bridges and can also help widen friend circle only if one is open enough. So there I was dashing off to Ultimo from St Leonards in peak traffic and then onto Hornsby and then onto dinner and then all the way over the Harbour Bridge to Bondi. Driving down Oxford street, Darlinghurst in the middle of the night on a Friday night dare I say… is not the best experience in the world and just as it should happen Danny and I were having a rather engaging conversation about the population of India and %$#^% I ran a red light!! $#%#@$^ My ephemeral elation of having gone unnoticed came to a precipituous end in the next ten seconds maybe twenty — we got pulled over by the cops. Our very interesting conversation had abruptly disengaged. The music inside the car seemed almost inaudible. My heart was pumping harder than I knew, was tad nervous and I said to Danny well there goes my budgeting for the weekend not that I really do that a lot
There is always retail therapy to be done you know
If you live in Sydney and love flying chances are you would already know about the Southern Cross Gliding Club in Camden. Other than the historic beautiful town of Camden it also hosts a big aerodromme that has 3 seperate flying strips viz. Southern Cross, The Cessna Flying club and the Acrobatics power flight centre — run by some Germans and I don’t remember the name very well. The photo is from my archive of 14th July 2002. It’s been a while I went gliding maybe I should soon
Set in the romantic wilderness of Cold Mountain, Noth Carolina, the perilous journey of a wounded soldier in the waning days of the American Civil War, to reunite with his beloved Ada. Based on one of the most acclaimed novels in recent memory, “Cold Mountain” sets off on a true American odyssey through a time that saw some of the greatest ferocity — and heroism — the nation has ever known.
The technology that made this possible, undoubtedly Apple’s Final Cut Pro. Read master film editor Walter Murch’s interview
